Ray Ban Fashion

This summer’s hottest trends all stem from a retro look, so its only fitting that even the accessories feel like a blast from the past. This season's sunglasses are classic looks with very few modifications. As the saying goes, "if it ain't broke don't fix it," so investing in a pair of classic shades will last you for years to come, maybe even decades.

The Cat-Eye sunglasses came into play in the 1950’s and for this season, designers have updated them for a more sophisticated and glamorous look. Cat-eyes are best for faces that tend to look triangular because it adds some curvature to the face.

Square sunglasses were made famous in the 1960’s as well and now they have made a very great come back with its new modern look. These frames look great on people with rounder faces to give the face definition.

Round Sunglasses

The Round sunglasses were inspired by John Lennon in the late 1960’s. Now, more than 50 years later, these frames have become more modern and look best with a thicker frame, instead of the skinny wired ones we've seen on the runway. The best face shape for these sunglasses is a squarer face.

Selena Gomez Sunglasses

Selena Marie Gomez was born on July 22, 1992 in Grand Prairie, Texas. She began acting at the age of seven on the children's television show Barney and Friends (2002). In 2004 she was scouted by the Disney Channel and received small guest roles on two Disney shows, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2006) and Hannah Montana (2007). She then accepted a starring role as "Alex Russo" on the family comedy The Wizards of Waverly Place television show (2007) and movie (2009). Selena also played the lead role of "Beezus Quimby" in Ramona and Beezus (2010), a film based on the popular children's book by author Beverly Cleary.

Not content with just acting, she has also recorded songs for Disney films and albums including Disneymania 6 (2008), Another Cinderella Story (2008), Tinker Bell (2008), and Princess Protection Program (2009). Her band, Selena Gomez & the Scene, released their first album in September, 2009, and performed their single, Falling Down, on an episode of Dancing with the Stars the same week.
Gomez has an impressive philanthropic resume for someone so young. In October of 2008 she participated in the St. Jude's Children's Hospital "Runway for Life" benefit. That same month, as the youngest UNICEF ambassador, she was named spokesperson for UNICEF's Trick-or-Treat campaign designed to encourage children to raise money for underprivileged children around the world. She has also been involved in "Disney Friends For Change," to promote environmental consciousness and participated in the "Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund."

The Aviator style was created in the late 1930's by Ray-Ban for the U.S. military. By the 1960's, their popularity was solidified with the young crowd. This season, designers continue to salute the classic style with little change to the look and shape.

Country singer Taylor Swift and New Moon star Taylor Lautner are not Taylor-made and have split after three months of dating, US Magazine has confirmed.
'It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends,' a source close to the singer tells the magazine. 'There was no chemistry.'
The couple met on the set of the romantic comedy Valentine's Day and first sparked rumours of a romance when the country star hugged him at her October 9 concert in Rosemont, Illinois. They have since been seen on several dates and have both loosely mentioned their relationship on separate Saturday Night Live hosting gigs.
